Train The Troops Program Train The Troops Program consists of twenty (20), one hours sections, with a 100 questions skill test at the end. The student can review their performance in the training and the results of the skill test.
National Training Center’s (NTC) Train The Troops Training includes all Level 1 Training in Training Department, our online training system. The training is designed to introduce the student to the types of low voltage systems he/she may encounter in his/her job and provide a base understanding of how the systems are designed, installed, and function.
• Basic Electronics – 1 hour
• Security Systems – 3 hours
• Fire Alarm Systems – 2 hours
• Access Control Systems – 2 hours
• Video/CCTV Systems – 3 hours
• IP/Networking – 2 hours
• Residential Audio/Video Systems – 3 hours
• Home Automation Systems – 2 hours
• Commercial Audio Systems - 2 hours
In addition to the Level I Training, each Train The Troops participant receives, NTC's Blue Book: Security System Design & Installation. The NTC Blue Book is the authority on low voltage systems. This one of a kind reference provides important information on a wide variety of modern electronic systems. This book includes application based information. It is designed to provide workable solutions for the technical challenges presented in the low voltage industry today.
